26th MAHLAP Congress and Seminar-Workshop

Dear Fellow Librarians, Information Specialists, and Colleagues:
MAHLAP, in partnership with the Department of Health and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts—Libraries and Information Services, and co-organized by the Angeles University Foundation Library, will hold its 26th National Congress and Seminar-Workshop on the theme: “Embracing Change: Translating Library Plans Into Actions” on March 12-14, 2014 in  Holiday Inn Hotel,  Clark Pampanga.

Our objectives for the 2014 Congress are:

• To revisit and review librarians' professional ethics;
• To re-train and re-learn skills on planning, project management and promoting the library; and
• To evaluate current practices and library programs.

We have invited our country’s experts to share their knowledge and experiences about project management and evaluation and marketing of library services.

We are pleased to invite you to join this seminar-workshop. The registration fees are as follows:
P5,500 - Live in (Normal Rates). Non MAHLAP Member
P5,000 - Live in. MAHLAP Member/Early Bird (payment should be made on or before February 28, 2014)
P4,500 - Live out. Non MAHLAP Member
P3,800 - Live out. MAHLAP Member (payment should be made on or before February 28, 2014; otherwise, non-member rate will apply)

Registration fee for live-in participants includes accommodation (triple sharing), breakfasts, AM/PM snacks, lunches, dinners, conference kits and certificate of participation/attendance.

Registration fee for live-out participants includes conference kits, certificate of participation/attendance and meals (AM/PM snacks and lunch). To avail of Early Bird Rates, please settle your payments on or before February 28, 2014.

Rate for Accompanying Person - P4,500 (accommodation with meals and snacks only). Hotel rate for extra night: P1,100-P1,500/pax (room-sharing).
